Ann Barnet, M.D., a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College and Harvard Medical School, is Professor of Pediatrics and Neurology Emerita at George Washington School of Medicine and a member of the department of neurology at Children’s National Medical
Center (Washington, DC), where she founded and directed the “Evoked Response Laboratory.” Dr. Barnet is author of numerous research studies on infant brain development and is co-author with Richard Barnet of the recent book, “The Youngest Minds: Parenting and Genes in the Development of Intellect and Emotion.” Dr. Barnett is the founder and president of The Family Place and is a member of The Family Place Mission Group.
