Elizabeth
Ford is a State Program Specialist at ZERO TO THREE,
national center for infants and toddlers. As a
State Program Specialist, Ms. Ford serves as a
liaison and consultant to State and Territory Child
Care Administrators in efforts to improve infant
and toddler child care statewide through strategic
planning. She is the former Director of the Cornerstones
Project at ZERO TO THREE, a consultation and training
project designed to strengthen the leadership and
program management capacity of infant and family
agency leaders and their core staff in the Washington.
DC metropolitan region. She is a member of the
original Early Childhood Consultant cohort of Children’s
Resources International, Inc. Prior to joining
ZERO TO THREE, she was Director of Special Projects
at NAEYC. She is a former Head Start Center Director
and Early Childhood Adjunct Instructor. She serves
on numerous Boards and consortia advocating to
improve the quality of care for America’s
youngest citizens, our children.
