Ruth
Uhlmann is an independent consultant in early
childhood education/child development, with over
two decades of experience consulting and faculty
positions at local colleges and universities. As
a consultant to Project Head Start, Even Start, and
Smart Start, she has been involved in a variety of
activities, materials developer, program evaluator
and monitor, trainer, and technical assistance provider.
Ms. Uhlmann has been on the Board of Directors for
The Family Place since 2001, and a member of the
Mayor's Commission for Early Childhood Education.
