Early Childhood Education Services
The Family Place offers two early childhood education classes, for children of our adult learners. While parents are attending class, their children are also gaining important developmental skills in one of our classes. These classes focus on each child’s unique developmental needs in gross motor skills, general cognitive skills, language development, and emergent literacy and number skills.
Infants and Toddlers
Our Infants and Toddlers class focuses on the important developmental needs of children ages 2 months to 2 years. This class consists of four key development domains: Social and Emotional, Physical, Cognitive, and Language. The ultimate goal for these young learners is to transition them into our Preschool class for higher-level learning.
Our Preschool class focuses on the developmental needs of children ages 2 to 4 years old. This class consists of four key domains: Social and Interpersonal, Logic and Reasoning, Cognitive, and Physical. The ultimate goal of this class is to prepare students for success starting Kindergarten and ease their transition into a larger school.
