Dr. Ann Barnet at The Family Place

Celebrating The Family Place,
Dr. Ann Barnet’s Impact & our new early childhood education center

The Family Place (TFP) –Founded by Dr. Ann Barnet, a pediatrician, author, and visionary in family-centered care– empowers low-income families in D.C. and fosters the optimal development of their young children through educational and support services. We support families through a two-generation, two-agency model.

Join us in celebrating the 45th anniversary of The Family Place and honoring Dr. Ann Barnet on her 95th birthday.

This event will celebrate our impact over the past 45 years and introduce the next chapter of our work, expanding our services to reach more families and children. This is a great opportunity to get a sneak peek at our new projectThe Ann Barnet Center, Early Childhood Campus— and learn how it will enhance our ability to support both parents and children with essential resources.
